RN – Operating Room (OR)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care.
• Serve as a Circulating RN during surgical procedures.
• Assist in Scrub RN duties if qualified.
• Prepare and maintain sterile operating room environments.
• Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are available and functioning properly.
• Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other OR staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR.
• Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards.
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled.

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of recent OR RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience as a Circulating RN
• Experience with multiple surgical specialties preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
