Certified Surgical Technologist

Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Surgical Technologist to join the Surgical Services team in the Operating Room! Description: The selected candidate will provide knowledgeable, safe and effective care to patients during intraoperative period, and effectively interact with patients and health care team members while maintaining the surgical department standards. Additionally, will ensure knowledgeable and appropriate decontamination, cleaning and sterilization of surgical instrumentation. Requirements:Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology ProgramSurgical Technology Certification required within 6 months of hireBLS certification requiredCertification in Central Sterile Processing preferred At least 1 year experience preferred Hours:This is a full-time position requiring eight (8) hours a day, Monday - Friday. On call responsibility for other shifts, holidays, and weekends as assigned. May work other hours for the effective operation of the department. Your Health, Our Passion!
