Here are some of our perks:(10) Paid HolidaysPaid vacation, sick time, personal and wellness timeMedical, dental, and vision insurance for those who are scheduled to work at least 30 hours per weekPet insurance, legal support, and other supplemental insuranceA generous tuition reimbursement program403(b) retirement planCompetitive wages and more...You will have responsibilities including but not limited to:• Provides direct clinical services (i.e., crisis intervention/de-escalation, assessment, counseling, family therapy, referrals, and discharge planning) to patients as needed• Assists clinical staff in the development of treatment/recovery plans, ensuring that such plans address all facets of a patient's treatment - mental health, substance abuse, education, and vocational rehabilitation• Review and approve all facets of discharge planning• Ensures that treatment operations meet clinical regulations• Ensures that treatment operations comply with Medicaid and other reimbursement standards• Designates staff to perform tasks required under regulations (i.e., evaluation of patients’ needs, development and implementation of treatment/recovery plans, etc.)• Conducts regular interdisciplinary case conferences.• Leads workshops and individual or group therapy sessions, as needed, in conjunction with other clinical staff.• Works with counselors in all areas of their job functions and facilitates open, consistent, skill focused clinical supervision and staff development, documenting as needed.• Responsible for overseeing and coordinating overall patient case management with applicable state and local social services agencies, legal referral sources and resources, school-based stakeholders, and community-based providers of services, as needed.• Reviews clinical documentation of staff; participates in or leads the clinical case review process; supports, monitors, and implements clinical and recovery support programming for all phases of treatment.Job Details:Long Island City Residential - Queens, NYFull Time-ExemptSalary range $56,000 - $84,000Shuttle services are provided for staff, pick up and drop off to and from the train stations in Long Island City, making the commute easier and more convenient.Shuttle service for staff operates during the following hours:Morning: 6:30 AM – 10:00 AMEvening: 4:30 PM – 8:00 PMREQUIRED EDUCATIONMaster’s degree in social work or Mental Health CounselingLICENSES/CERTIFICATIONSIndependent license issued by NYSLMSW/LMHCREQUIRED EXPERIENCEMinimum five years of experience working in substance use disorder treatmentMinimum two years of experience in a supervisory roleExperience and Knowledge of the OASAS 820 Model and Regulations.COMPETENCIES (KSAs)• Leadership• Initiative• Ethical Practices• Judgment• Relationship Management• Emotional Intelligence• Professional Boundaries• Global and Cultural Awareness• Critical Evaluation• Problem Solving• Decision Making• Communication• Teamwork• Crisis Management• Technical CapacityWORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in an indoor office environment.
