Team Leader

Overview Lead Team Member. Helps train other TMs and may perform same work as other TMs: a variety of warehouse duties including forklift operation, inventory control, receiving and shipping to ensure accurate and safe shipment of goods to and from the customer. What You’ll Do Coordinate and lead the team’s daily operations. Unpack, repack, and place items. Use tools and visual aids to confirm quantities of freight being received and shipped. Operate a forklift and/or crane for loading and unloading. Operate other machines for production or processing, such as a scan gun. Inspect product before shipping. Clean work area according to 5S standards. Enter production data into basic spreadsheet systems. Follow approved procedures and precautions. Assist in providing a safe environment for all employees. Maintain paperwork of incoming and outgoing products. Participate in team meetings and training. Other duties may be assigned. Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Supervisory experience preferred. The employee is occasionally required to climb and operate heavy machinery. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and depth perception. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in both hot and cold environments. The facility is not cooled in the summer. The employee will also be required to wear safety shoes and safety glasses on the facility floor. Shift and Pay Shift: 2nd shift, 4:30pm to 1:30am. Pay: $20.00 per hour, plus shift differential.
