Front Desk Receptionist

Receptionist Full-Time The Rustic Paw Dawson Springs, KY (owned by Pet Palace) Do you love animals, enjoy helping people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? The Rustic Paw is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and energetic full-time Receptionist to join our team! As the first face our clients see, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while helping our salon run smoothly every day. Pay $12.00$14.00 per hour Schedule Tuesday Friday: 8:00 AM 3:00 PM One Saturday per month: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM 6:00 PM Applicants must be available to work these scheduled days and shifts. No exceptions. Responsibilities Greet clients and check pets in and out Answer incoming phone calls Schedule grooming appointments Assist customers with questions and services Keep the lobby and reception area clean and organized Help maintain a clean salon throughout the day Work alongside groomers and other team members Handle pet-related cleaning, including urine, feces, vomit, and other animal messes Work around both dogs and cats daily Perform other duties as needed to help the team Qualifications We're looking for someone who: Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with people Loves animals and treats every pet with kindness and compassion Is dependable and punctual Is willing to jump in and help wherever needed Communicates professionally with clients and coworkers Can multitask in a busy environment Pays attention to detail Is comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout the workday Please Note This position is not allergy-friendly.
