Preparing ingredients and cooking meals per standardized recipes. Ensuring kitchen cleanliness and proper food storage. Following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborating with the kitchen team to meet service demands. Assisting in inventory management and reporting shortages. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in food preparation or a kitchen environment is desired. Must complete an approved sanitation and safety course (ServSafe). Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is required. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team. Basic knife skills and familiarity with cooking techniques are preferred. Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies. Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods. Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
