Riverside, CA Part-Time
The Payroll Department is seeking a qualified student worker to assist the Payroll Department with processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- This includes verifying information, time cards, additional hours, contracts and deductions.
- Entering data into the computer.
- After payroll has run, checking to make sure everything has paid properly and all deductions have been taken out correctly.
- Fold and stuff checks and direct deposits with folding machine.
- Group departmental, US Mail and checks in Payroll together.
- Pass out payroll checks.
- Answer paycheck-related questions.
- Sort and file time cards and other papers as needed.
- Answer phones and open mail.
- Retrieve necessary documents for audits.
- Process billing which includes paying bills online and preparing check requests.
- Sorting and filing as needed.
- Assist with all other duties as needed.
Preferred Schedule: Afternoons; Monday - Thursday
Wage Range: $16.90-17.30
