Electronic Control Technician

Electronic Control Technician – Entry Level Responsibilities Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain control instrumentation systems for beet and sugar processing operations. Install and program control networks, including DeltaV and RSIII distributive control software and associated hardware. Optimize control loop performance to ensure efficient operation of processing systems. Collaborate with operations personnel to gain detailed understanding of operating parameters and to ensure maintenance interventions are appropriate and effective. Advise operations on process adjustments so that operating practices can be updated accordingly. Qualifications Minimum of a 2‑year technical degree. At least 3 years of experience in instrument shop or electronic maintenance across the required instrumentation fields. Ability to pass skills & aptitude tests and a safety screening. Computer literate with strong keyboarding skills and proficiency in a Windows operating environment and word‑processing software. Excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
