About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 36 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in Emergency Department License: Active RN License Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) - PALS (AHA) Must-Have: - Previous travel experience (at least 3 months) - Rural/small facility experience - TNCC certification (highly preferred) - Traveler must have their own vehicle Description: Provide emergency care for patients with a variety of medical emergencies. Work as part of a team trained to diagnose and treat urgent health issues. Address conditions ranging from broken bones and cuts to more severe traumas. Perform stabilization for inpatient admission or transfer as required. Treat patients experiencing burn injuries, heart attacks, emotional distress, and injuries from accidents. Administer care to individuals affected by poisoning, sexual assault, or violence-related injuries. Utilize facilities that offer modern amenities for comfort and privacy. Participate in the prioritization of care based on the critical nature of patients' conditions. Follow protocols to manage emergency responses to hazardous situations. Adhere to scheduling requirements and submit any requested time off prior to assignment. Ensure clear communication and availability by setting up voicemail for accessibility. All travelers must comply with assignment guidelines and requirements fully.
