Adjunct Veterinary Technician Instructor
Porter and Chester Institute
The Veterinary Technician Instructor will teach within the set curriculum of the program and tailor each class's materials to our student's learning abilities. This position will include on-campus lab time, running online courses, and assistance with the transition from an on-ground program to an online program.
Large animal experience needed to teach 1 week course per term. Shift hours for the week are Mon-Thurs 10am-5pm Teaching experience is NOT required; training provided.Our Faculty members ...

- Receive and respond to ongoing training, development, and feedback
- Mentor and help guide students of all levels achieve their best
- Minimum 3 years related work experience as a veterinary technician required.
- Minimum of an Associate's degree from an AVMA accredited program preferred
- Credentialed Veterinarian Technician (CVT) required
- Hands-on work with horses and cattle required; experience with goats and poultry is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to use common software programs (MS Word/Excel/Outlook etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Flexible with hours and schedule through the week
