Overview

We a Our JCQ Project Engineer, oversees planning and coordinates technical value engineering initiatives to make sure we can complete our projects within budget and according to the its schedules. Their duties include upholding project standards by researching compliance regulations, developing project implementation plans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project while keeping an accurate track of projects inventories. We require that our Project Engineers use computer software's to weigh production risks or compile reports and making presentations to project leaders outlining their suggestions for current or upcoming projects.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project determining what factors of production will influence the cost of aservice or product.
• Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service.
• Creating labor estimates for any project.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors.
• Managing Projects Inventories. Always keep them up to date.
• Using bid data to prepare detailed a Matrix analysis.
• Create and manage Warehouse requests (Pull Requests) for Owner and or contractor furnished materials.
• Coordinate Warehouse appointments for pickups and deliveries.
• Do visual counts of on Hand inventories as needed.
• Manage Waste Diversion program requests for containers setups and swap.
• Compiling and recording actual job conditions that can affect project costs, such as material delays, OFI Damages, etc.
• Attend to Pre-bid meetings, Walkthroughs, Pre-construction meetings as required.
• Manage of RFIs, Addendums and Change Orders.
• Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
• Designing risk mitigation plan with Project Managers.
• Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary.
• Participates sales processes, Networking and presentations.
• Conflict Resolution as needed.
• Answer client of Management requests on a timely fashion.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project) and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
