the client seeks a strategic, purpose-driven Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communications to advance its mission. The role will develop and lead a comprehensive marketing and communications program that strengthens brand awareness and delivers an integrated approach to engaging key stakeholder audiences. Working closely with development, research, and business service teams, the EVP will modernize the organization’s website and digital assets, leverage and expand an extensive video library, and translate research results and breakthroughs into clear, compelling communications. Across all channels, messaging should convey compassion and empathy for those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease alongside the organization’s determination to accelerate a cure. The successful candidate is expected to be innately curious and committed to ongoing self-education about the research supported by the client. The EVP will have at least 10 years of experience conceiving and implementing multi-faceted, integrated marketing, branding, and communications efforts that enhance the perception of an entire institution, ideally within a nonprofit or other mission-driven environment. The individual should have a comprehensive understanding of communications and media and channel deployment across diverse audiences, along with strong people leadership skills to elevate an existing team and recruit complementary staff. This position calls for a data-driven, results-oriented leader with a collegial and accessible leadership style and superb written and oral communication skills. A bachelor’s degree is required.
