About The Team The Workday Success Plans (WSP) Delivery Team ensures customers maximize the value of their Workday products. We focus on the post‑go‑live journey, delivering programs that range from feature assessments to full feature deployments to meet evolving business needs. About The Role We are seeking people who love to help customers overcome HR technology challenges and who are rewarded by driving high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate helps people understand tough concepts, facilitates collaboration on effective solutions, and guides customers to gain maximum value from their Workday investment through innovative services. Responsibilities Consistently provide excellent customer service and confidently engage customers to quickly understand business requirements. Share broad experience with industry practices, adapt independently in challenging situations, and develop system configuration solutions that articulate product capabilities, benefits, and risks. Support multiple customers simultaneously on short‑duration projects and help customers become more self‑sufficient, stabilize, and optimize their Workday applications. Collaborate with the team and conduct Ask‑an‑Expert requests, including research, small‑scope consulting, configuration guidance, demonstrations, troubleshooting, and clear communication of value. Partner with an Engagement Manager to deliver services such as Feature Adoption Workshops, Functional Review, and Health Check. Deliver additional services including Collaboration Crews, Accelerator Webinars, Feature Accelerator sessions, and Feature Adoption Tenant Reviews. Basic Qualifications - Senior Functional Consultant - Talent Acquisition 5+ years of Human Capital Management software and consulting experience on medium or large enterprise HRIS projects, or equivalent practitioner deployment experience. 5+ years of experience with Recruiting and Talent Acquisition product area. 3+ years of Workday Consulting experience or experience as a Workday SME. Other Qualifications Solid grasp of HR systems and processes, with detailed understanding of Workday concepts and new feature releases in Core HCM and cross‑application features. Certified or ability to certify in Workday HCM Products and effectively deploy the solutions. Experience influencing, interacting, and collaborating with senior leaders internally and externally. Capable of leading and influencing design meetings toward collaborative outcomes. Ability to deliver results while managing a project plan. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred experience with global implementations. Ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously. Strong critical thinking skills to understand complex technical process issues and facilitate decision making. Bachelor’s degree or related experience required. Ability to travel up to 10%. Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role‑specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. The salary offer will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need. Primary Location: USA – IL – Chicago Primary Location Base Pay Range: $122,800 USD – $184,200 USD Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $111,000 USD – $197,300 USD Additional Considerations: If performed in Colorado, the pay range for this job is $117,000 – $175,400 USD.
