TASKS TO BE PERFORMED:

- Weigh bundles, using floor scales, and record weights for company records.

- Operate scalehouse computers to obtain weight information about incoming shipments such as those from waste haulers.

- Signal or instruct other workers to weigh, move, or check products.

- Count, sort, and weigh processed items.

- Read production and delivery schedules, and confer with supervisors, to determine sorting and transfer procedures, arrangement of packages on pallets, and destinations of loaded pallets.

- Sort cargo before loading and unloading.

- Arrive on time; notify us via the app if you are running late.

- Scan, sort, and load packages (5-50 lbs) onto numbered carts by route.

- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have 12 hours between shifts; unauthorized overtime is not allowed.

- Do not pick up a shift unless there are at least 12 hours between it and your previous shift.

- Notify a supervisor before leaving the floor for any reason so we can account for everyone in case of an emergency.

- Do not stay past the end of your shift without a supervisor or manager's authorization, even if you arrived late.

- Phones, headphones, and similar devices are not allowed on the floor. If you need to take a call, let a lead or supervisor know, step off the floor briefly, and return as soon as possible.

- Do not use your phone or take photos of staff or the facility while on-site. Doing so will result in being asked to leave, with pay only for time already worked.

- Guns, knives, razors, and other weapons are strictly prohibited. Leave them in your car. Any weapon brought on-site will be confiscated and the worker removed from the shift immediately. No exceptions.

- Notify us through the app as soon as possible if you will be late. Shifts are marked absent 10 minutes after the scheduled clock-in time.

TRAVEL TIPS:

- Park in the lot in front of the building.

- If the inner door is locked, ring the bell and someone will come up to let you in.

- Walk back to the warehouse and check in with the leader on duty.

- Check in at the iPad just inside the warehouse door upon arrival.
