Summary:

• Provides manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyroscopes (RLG), specifically glass machining.

• Performs yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability and product health trends.

• Utilizes CAMP, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.

• Investigates and resolves technical issues and facilitates issue identification and analysis.

• Develops improvements in product design and manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.

• Supports knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.

• Facilitates a self-driven workforce culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.

• Tests products and software.

• Completes failure analysis, manufacturing assembly, and test on returned goods.

• Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM field.

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, test, fabrication, or assembly processes.

• Experience with glass machining for Ring Laser Gyroscopes.

• Experience performing yield and performance data analysis.

• Experience utilizing CAMP, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.

• Experience investigating and resolving technical issues.

• Experience developing improvements in product design and manufacturing processes.

• Experience completing failure analysis and manufacturing assembly on returned goods.

• Knowledge of RCCA, Lean, Six Sigma, and FMEA tools and methodologies.
