Service Manager (Branch + Corporate Leadership)

Faris Machinery is seeking a Service Manager to lead both day-to-day branch operations and company-wide service performance .

This is a high-impact hybrid role:

50% Branch 1 operational leadership

50% Corporate service oversight (Branches 2 & 3)

What You’ll Drive

People & Leadership

• Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing technicians
• Lead performance management, training, and retention
• Partner with leadership on compensation planning
• Enforce safety, standards, and a culture of accountability

Customer Experience

• Own and elevate customer satisfaction
• Resolve issues proactively and strengthen key relationships
• Partner with Sales & Rental on demos and support
• Implement proactive maintenance and uptime programs

Financial Ownership

• Own service department P&L and budgeting
• Drive profitability through labor efficiency, pricing, and cost control
• Improve warranty recovery and compliance

Operational Execution

• Improve workflow, utilization, and turnaround times
• Ensure accurate, timely work order management
• Implement best practices (intake/outtake processes, documentation)
• Partner closely with Parts, Yard, and Operations teams
• Lead adoption of new diagnostics and service technology
• Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and safety standards

• Strong service gross profit performance
• 70%+ technician utilization
• High customer satisfaction scores
• Improved work order cycle times
• Zero safety incidents

What We’re Looking For

• Proven leader of service or field operations teams
• Strong financial and operational acumen
• Deep understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Experience in heavy equipment / construction / industrial service
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Valid driver’s license

Work Environment

Office, shop, yard, and job site exposure, including typical construction and service conditions.
