Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
* * RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated * *
**Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.**
**Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract

*Certifications Required: BLS & NRP*

- # L&D Beds: 14
- Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: Ratios fluctuate, but do follow AWHONN staffing standards
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Intrauterine pregnancy, pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, water births
- Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Pitocin, mag, insulin, antihypertensives, and medications for hemorrhages
- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes
- Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? Duties?: 1 OB tech per shift
- Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1900, 1830-0700 / Charge nurses will create schedule with preferred schedule if able to accommodate
- Weekend Requirements: Every third
- Holiday Requirements: Holidays rotate major and minor holidays every 3 years
- Floating Requirements: May voluntarily float to other departments in hospital to be a sitter or tasker. May also float to another campus for OB floors
- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 2 shifts

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
