What Do Fitness Attendants Do?
- Implement and monitor the general program orientations and trainings, which cater to members' health and fitness goals
- Utilize tools and information for the purpose of increasing members' knowledge of fitness, as well as other programs provided through the YMCA
- Ensure phones are answered messages communicated; members and customers are handled appropriately. Ensure administrative support is available for other duties that may arise
- Responsible for the cleanliness of fitness areas and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service and foster connections with members
- Ensure building, grounds, and equipment are in working order. Report any concerns

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Group Exercise or Personal Training Certificate preferred
- Previous related work experience preferred
- Complete required certifications within 60 days of hire
- Complete all required Branch and Position specific trainings as required within two weeks of hire
- Ability to obtain a criminal record clearance
