Amergis is looking for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant who is interested in working a Full-Time , 13 Week Contract (Possible Extension & Opportunity for internal offer) in Tinley Park, IL.

Position: Certified Medical Assistant

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Setting: Clinic

Location: Tinley Park

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 13 weeks (Possible extension & opportunity to go on internally)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (No Weekends)

Shift:

• 8:00am - 4:30pm ( Monday's - Doctor's last appointment is at 4:40pm )

• CMA must be able to stay until ALL patients have been seen

Responsibilities:

• Room patients

• Conduct phone calls to patients

• Review/complete patient paperwork

• Adapt quickly to a busy, fast-paced clinic

Requirements:

• Possesses a Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMT, NCCT, ARMA, or NHA

• 2+ years of Certified Medical Assistant experience

• Recent experience working with EMR - EPIC, Is Mandatory

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or its equivalent

• Good telephone communication skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Knowledge of medical procedures

• Knowledge of clerical functions

• Current CPR card (if applicable)

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)

• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred

• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.

• Relevant certification/ license if applicable.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
