Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an Airframe & Powerplant Instructor with General Aviation experience. In this role, you
will be required to perform various Airframe & Powerplant instruction activities in a classroom setting
and in the hangar.
- Thorough explanation and demonstration of all Airframe & Powerplant projects
- Set up and clean-up of all Airframe and Powerplant projects
- Maintenance of hangar to include all tools, equipment and light cleaning
- Plan and coordinate oral and practical daily activities
- Present classroom portion of training via PowerPoint
- Ensure all school and safety policies and procedures are adhered to
Qualifications
• A&P Certification with GA experience
• Robust communication skills to effectively communicate and demonstrate projects to worldwide clients.
• Must be very dependable and punctual.
• Excellent attention to detail skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications
Preferred Skills
• Prior assistant instructor or instructor experience is a plus.
• Inspection Authorization Certification is a plus, but not required.
Education Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
