OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Leawood, KS by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Run long-haul dry‑van freight nationwide from Leawood, KS as a seasoned OTR solo CDL‑A driver for HMD. Expect consistent freight lanes, competitive mileage starting at 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles, and bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals.

Equipment & Support: Operate late‑model tractors (under 3 years) equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, supported by in‑house maintenance for dependability.

Your responsibilities:

• Safely transport cargo to customer locations and terminals.
• Perform and document pre/post-trip inspections and logbooks.
• Work with dispatch to plan efficient, compliant routes.

Drivers get biweekly home time and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k). CDL‑A and 12 months of experience required.
