Job Description:
Exciting opportunity at MSK. We are currently seeking an expert Pathologist Assistant to join our team.
Position Summary: Provide technical support for the Pathologists' clinical and research activities.
Role Overview:
- Provide comprehensive assistance regarding the gross description and dissection of surgical tissue and thrive under the mentorship and supervision of outstanding Pathologists.
- Perform a wide variety of Histology processes in addition to tissue grossing, including tumor procurement, case set-up, gross imaging of patient specimens, mentoring/educating, and other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science from Pathologist Assistant Program (Master's preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in specimen grossing.
- Excellent communication skills - including verbal, written and computer.
- ASCP Certification strongly preferred.
- New graduates from an accredited PA master's program are welcome to apply.

Additional Information:
- Schedule: 4 days/10hr shift (12pm-10pm) with rotational Saturday coverage.
- Training will occur Monday-Friday 7am-3pm for three months.
- 100% Onsite - Location: 1275 York Ave in NYC.
- Report to: Manager, Surgical Pathology.
