Travel: LPN/LVN – Neuro Surgical – Night

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12 | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: July 6, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care within a Neurosurgical unit, focusing on patients with stroke, seizures, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological diagnoses or neurosurgical procedures.
• Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Fulfill call and float requirements as needed per unit policy.

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN or LVN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current NIHSS certification.
• Experience with EPIC EMR.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Neurosurgical or Medical-Surgical Neuro unit.
• Familiarity with care of patients with back, head, or spinal diagnoses and neurosurgical procedures.
