Registered Dietitian Temporary Bonus

As a Registered Dietitian at Hastings Senior Health & Living, you will collaborate with our on‑site leaders and culinary team to use your clinical expertise to develop a plan for each resident to help achieve their goals. Additionally, you will be a part of an established team where your clinical knowledge and critical thinking will be an asset. Position Type: Full‑Time. Temporary position from August to January, working 40 hours per week. Pay: $40 per hour. Completion Bonus: $5,000. Location: 930 West 16th Street, Hastings, MN 55033. Registered Dietitian Responsibilities Coordinate nutritional care of patients by completing nutritional assessments, MDS’s and care plans. Conduct a nutrition assessment for patients at nutritional risk per facility policies and procedures. Develop and implement an individualized plan for nutrition intervention based on nutrition assessment and evidence‑based standards. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in meetings and/or rounds. Experience with electronic charting, the Nutrition Care Process and writing PES statements to provide appropriate documentation for the plan of care. Works cooperatively with food service staff to ensure conformance to diet prescriptions. Demonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients’ protected health information. At least one year of acute care dietitian experience or heavy in‑patient clinical internship rotations. Participate in care planning meetings, as required. Provide nutritional counseling and education for patients and family. Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards. Registered Dietitian Qualifications Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Have Minnesota state licensure. Strong oral and written communication skills.
