Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist
  • Provide respiratory therapy services as per physician orders
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Educate patients and families about respiratory therapy needs and procedures
  • Maintain equipment and ensure safety standards are followed
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist
  • Current and valid Respiratory Therapist license in Louisiana
  • Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Experience in a clinical setting preferred
