Comptroller

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible accounting or financial management experience.
• Experience in K-12 public school finance or governmental accounting preferred.
• Knowledge and application of governmental accounting standards, budgeting, auditing, and internal controls.
• Computer proficiency including financial management software.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Manheim Township School District is seeking a highly qualified and detail-oriented Comptroller to assist in the oversight of the financial operations of the school district. The Comptroller is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, preparing financial reports, managing accounting functions, and supporting the district's strategic financial planning. The successful candidate will demonstrate integrity, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to responsible stewardship of public funds.

Salary: Dependent upon qualifications, education and experience
