$18 - $30 hourly DOE
Responsibilities:- Install, alter, and repair sheet metal products and equipment, ducts, and hoods for HVAC systems.
- Utilizing blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Selects appropriate material for each job based on desired or necessary strength.
- Coordinates required shutdowns and startups of equipment with other departments after sheet metal installation.
- Measures, cuts, and welds pieces together according to specifications, blueprints, or directions.
- Develops and maintains records for projects and repairs.
- Inspect products for compliance with specifications and quality standards and requirements.
- Proven experience in HVAC installation or service, or similar industries.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand product specifications.
- Safely operate machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work.
- Complete sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision.
- Ability to complete daily tasks with limited supervision and minimal errors.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to perform manual and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- OSHA 10 certification is highly preferred.
- Class E driver's license is highly preferred for the use of company vehicles.
