Supervisor Sterile Processing

Overview Sterile Processing Supervisors are responsible for the day to day operations of the Sterile Processing Department. They work collaboratively with OR Leadership and ancillary Departments to meet instrumentation and sterilization needs. They maintain accurate instrument checklists and process documentation. They are a resource for all sterilization needs and responsible for following manufacturers IFU. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department, ensuring timely and accurate instrument processing and documentation. Collaborate with OR leadership and ancillary departments to meet instrumentation and sterilization needs. Maintain accurate instrument checklists and process documentation; ensure compliance with manufacturers’ IFU. Qualifications High School Diploma Sterile Processing Certificate through CBSPD or IAHCSMM (obtained within 6 months of hire) Minimum 2 years of experience Preferred: 3–5 years of experience in the field Where You\'ll Work Virginia Mason Franciscan Health brings together two award-winning health systems in Washington state – CHI Franciscan and Virginia Mason.
