Travel RN - Cath Lab/EPAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of RN experience with Cath Lab diagnostic, interventional, and structural procedure competency.Details:Cath Lab unit in a short-term acute care hospitalDay shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 6:30am to 5:00pmDaily caseload per tech is 8-10 casesOn-call required, rotating first and second call in 12-hour shiftsOn-call includes 2-3 weekday nights (7pm-6:30am) and approximately one weekend per 4-5 weeks (Friday 7pm through Monday 6:30am)2-hour minimum call-back requirementNo floating required outside of Cath LabUses Cerner charting systemScrubs providedRequirements:Active WV or compact RN license requiredMinimum 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year in Cath Lab diagnostic and interventional procedures including structuralBLS and ACLS certifications required through AHAARRT registration requiredPrior travel nursing experience requiredPending WV license accepted for consideration but must be active in hand prior to assignment startRCIS certification not accepted as licensure for Cath Lab work in WVTwo Manager or Charge Nurse references from within the past 2 years requiredAdditional Information:Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital, member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH)838 staffed bedsFree parking provided for travelersNo RTO restrictionsCandidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility, with 75-99 miles considered on a case-by-case basis for facility approvalFirst-time travelers not accepted; prior Cath Lab travel experience requiredFormer permanent employees must wait 2 years from their last date of employment before returning as a travelerCurrent employees of the Vandalia Health System (including CAMC Health Systems, Mon Health Systems, Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital, Webster Memorial Hospital, Grafton City Hospital, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital, and Minnie Hamilton Health System) are not eligible for travel contracts within the system
