The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.The Network Administrator supports, configures, maintains, monitors, and upgrades the corporation’s various networks. This role works in a team environment to address system issues.ResponsibilitiesEstablish network specifications by conferring with users, analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirementsEvaluate network performance issues, including availability, utilization, throughput, and latencyPlan and execute the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of network equipmentDefine network policies and proceduresMaintain existing software and hardware and upgrade/replace any that have become obsoleteEnsure that all network hardware/firmware is kept up to dateWork closely with the Network Administrator to ensure that the highest network performance is being attained and making sure that any network changes that may affect critical systems are analyzed and testedEnsure network security is at its highest level possible and monitor the network for any potential security vulnerabilities and attacksAdvocate for new technologies and products, attending networking conferences and trainingSome travel to other sites requiredPerform other duties and projects as assignedQualificationsDegree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent field experienceMinimum of six years working in network administrationApplicable Certifications: CCNA, CCSP, CCIE, Network+, Security+Excellent communication skills, written and oralStrong collaboration and interpersonal skillsOutstanding time management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and adapt to meet changing needsExcellent follow-through skills, able to complete projects promptlySelf-motivated and eager to learnAble to establish a good rapport with management, staff, and vendorsTroubleshooting ability; able to logically work through various steps to resolve issuesExtensive knowledge of the following products/solutions: (1) Cisco and/or Extreme Networks hardware: datacenter/edge switches, routers, WLAN controllers, WAPs, (2) Azure Virtual Networking fundamentals and concepts, (3) Extreme Software: XIQ management suite, (4), Firewall concepts and management (FortiGate), (5), WAN configuration and management, (5), Remote access technologies (VPN/IPSEC), (6) Multicast networking/IGMPWorking knowledge of Microsoft solutions is requiredSpecific knowledge of the following products would be beneficial: (1) Active Directory 2016 and above, 92) Windows Server 2016 – 2022, (3) DHCP/DNS/WINS, and (4) DFSSecondary knowledge in the following areas would be helpful: (1) SAN networking –Fibre Channel, iSCSI, (2) HP server and storage hardware – HP Proliant DL series, 3PAR SAN, Nimble SAN, MSA, (3) Virtualization technologies: VMware, ProxMox, (4) Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 products and cloud servicesKnowledge, Skills, and ExperienceEducation - Bachelor's DegreeExperience Required – 6+This position is on-site.RL 2026Company:OC Sports & Entertainment, LLCOur Commitment:We are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and team members without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, parental status, military service, medical condition or any protected category prohibited by local, state or federal laws.
