Urgent Care Physician Location Gainesville, FL Specialties Accepted Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine with ER, Family Medicine with ER About the Opportunity A well-established practice in Gainesville is seeking a Board-Certified Urgent Care or Emergency Physician (preferred) to join its growing team. This is a full-time position offering procedural autonomy, a collaborative work environment, and competitive compensation. Position Highlights Full-time, Monday–Friday (8am – 8pm) Weekends (10am – 4pm) Outpatient-focused Salary range: $450,000 – $500,000 Comprehensive support staff and equipment Strong referral base and consistent case volume Core Responsibilities Be willing to learn and utilize EMR and tablet/laptop technology at the bedside. Prescribe and administer vaccinations to immunize patients from communicable diseases. Promote health by advising patients about diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease. Perform surgical procedures commensurate with surgical competency. Refer patients to primary care physicians or medical specialists for consultation services when necessary for the well-being of the patients. Document the patients’ visits including medical history, physical exam, diagnoses, and plan of action. Follow-up with patients regarding progress in high risk or emergency cases.
