MRI Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures by preparing and positioning patients, operating MRI scanners, and producing high-quality diagnostic images. The role supports a hospital in Asheville, NC, and requires adherence to departmental policies, safe imaging practices, and collaboration with radiology teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI or RT(R) with MRI registry.
• State licensure as required for MRI technologists in North Carolina.
• MRI-specific advanced certification as required by the client.
• BLS certification.
• Experience performing MRI procedures, including contrast and non-contrast exams.
• Experience working on GE MRI equipment.
• Ability to work in a hospital radiology environment, including trauma and pediatric cases.
• Required certifications must be verifiable; candidates without MRI registration will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Breast MRI experience preferred.
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
• Experience in an acute care or Level II trauma center preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0630-1900.
• Rotating weekends required.
• On-call responsibilities and weekend coverage as part of unit guidelines.
• Dress code: black scrubs.
• May be required to float to other facilities within the client network.
