As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Security Patrol in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, sorting operations, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations involving damaged property, unusual conditions, or policy violations to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
