Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Hays, KS. We seek a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living and work skills while experiencing a new location. This role supports patient-centered care in a hospital setting and requires adherence to facility protocols and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Kansas Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in acute care or hospital settings preferred. Demonstrated competency with standardized assessments and common OT interventions for adults and older adults preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior travel therapy or contract experience preferred. Experience with electronic medical records preferred. Additional certifications such as COTA supervision experience or specialty training in neurological or orthopaedic rehab preferred.
