VDC Engineer- Concrete

Position Summary PR Construction is seeking a Virtual Design & Construction Project Engineer for its Self‑Perform Concrete team. The role involves leading the development, implementation, and support of all VDC processes across the region and supporting model‑based project management, process workflows, and construction technology deployment for DPR business units. Responsibilities Lead development, implementation, and support of all VDC processes across the region. Support established VDC initiatives leveraged by project teams in both office and field settings. Support model‑based project management, process workflows, and construction technology deployment. Configure project sites to host BIM data (if applicable) or other equitable platforms. Execute and multi‑task VDC operations and processes on single projects. Administer and support VDC coordination kick‑off meetings and subsequent meetings. Qualifications Flexible, detail‑oriented, with ability to multi‑task and produce quality deliverables in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Strong technical skills with basic to intermediate knowledge of Autodesk packages (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.). Knowledge of Autodesk BIM 360 Build products: Glue, Field, Docs, including contractor‑facing authoring and collaboration tools (Revit, Tekla, 3D AutoCAD MEP, etc.). Experience with Autodesk Navisworks Manage and/or Simulate. Ability to quickly learn new software tools and teach others. Ability to work in a flat organization that requires full transparency, team collaboration, influencing, and socialization of initiatives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience configuring project sites to host BIM data. Experience administering and supporting VDC coordination meetings. Experience Engineering or construction related field experience. Experience with RFI and submittal processes. Experience in concrete architecture, engineering, or construction. Education & Technical Qualifications Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the AECO industry. 0–3 years of experience in a pre‑construction, operations, or VDC‑related role. Beginner to intermediate level software knowledge in Autodesk packages (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.).
