This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday; M/R 11am - 11:30pm; T/W 3-11:30pm (2, 12-hour shifts and 2, 8-hour shifts) with holidays and on-call requirements.

Job Description

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging. This position requires accurate patient handling, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized scanning facility.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and verify exams prior to initiating scans.
• Coordinate with physicians and prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures.
• Insert IVs when necessary and position patients safely.
• Document all necessary components within EPIC and ensure proper image handling with the PACS system.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the scanning facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NYS registration and injection therapy certification (must obtain prior to starting).
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Two years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with Siemens scanners and Epic software is preferred.
