Shift Type:  Night shifts, 12-hour, every other weekend and holiday rotation

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all acuity levels
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced ER environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, start IVs, monitor telemetry, and interpret rhythms
• Triage patients quickly and accurately based on severity of condition
• Perform point-of-care lab testing and assist with procedures
• Maintain a calm, organized approach during critical situations like trauma codes and strokes

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact license (NLC) willing to obtain CO
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required (AHA preferred)
• Willing to submit to background check and drug screen
• Must live outside a 60-mile radius from Fort Morgan, CO

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in high-stress situations
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system preferred
• Ability to interpret telemetry strips and basic EKGs
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable floating within region/zone ERs as needed
