Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a client in downtown Indianapolis in search of a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This is a full time position, working on a hybrid schedule (2-3 days remote per week). If you feel you would be a good fit, apply today!

Key Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Perform three-way matching between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
• Review, validate, and code invoices for approval and payment.
• Manage and monitor a high-volume AP inbox, prioritizing and responding to vendor and internal inquiries.
• Reconcile discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, receiving documents, and vendor statements.
• Coordinate weekly check runs and assist with check printing activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Partner with operations, purchasing, and receiving teams to resolve invoice and PO-related issues.
• Maintain AP records and documentation in accordance with company policies and audit requirements.
• Assist leadership with identifying opportunities for process improvements and workflow efficiencies.
• Support month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and reporting as needed.
