Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in Telemetry is responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to changes in patient condition. This position requires strong Med/Surg and TELE background, with proficiency in EPIC Charting.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Administer medications and provide patient care.
• Document patient information using EPIC Charting system.
• Provide education to patients and families as needed.
• Float to other Medical-Surgical units as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Med/Surg. TELE preferred.
• Valid Illinois RN License.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Availability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
• Successful completion of an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher.
