CNC Milling Specialist 2nd Shift

How would you contribute? This role is a contributing member of our Airlite - Omaha team, located in Omaha, NE. As a CNC Milling Specialist you are a key to continued growth and success of Airlite. The CNC Milling Specialist is responsible for operating CNC milling machines to produce parts to specifications. Responsibilities Prepare and operate CNC milling machines as instructed. Set and align parts in a precise manner using a dial indicator. Replace and recalibrate cutting tools as needed to correctly finish machine parts. Observe and make adjustments to the machinery to maintain part tolerances. Fit and assemble precision parts to complete a final assembly. Verify sizes to the correct designed dimension in tolerance on machined parts. Perform final part inspections by using calibrated electronic and manual measuring tools. Maintain all machine tool preventive maintenance and cleanliness responsibilities as recommended by the OEM. Document labor hours used for each job for historical data base. Maintain company attendance standards. Report food safety concerns to management. Perform training for new hires. Share job related knowledge and experiences with other shop employees as needed. Successful candidates for the role will possess the following: Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Ability to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints and procedure manuals in English. Ability to understand and apply mathematical concepts. Knowledge of and ability to use basic hand tools. Capability to utilize problem solving skills. Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects/activities/goals. Must be able to work well with other, build partnerships and support team members. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and tactful in dealing with people at all levels. Must be self-motivated and positive. Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations. Maintain the utmost level of confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information. Detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills with the ability to operate Microsoft Office products. Upholds and supports organizational goals and values. Takes initiative and asks for help when needed.Ability to work third shift (overnight) hours required. Ability to work regular overtime, including weekends and holidays as required by company maintenance priorities, machine installation schedules and plant emergencies.
