Physical Therapist Assistant

$2000 Sign on Bonus Available We are seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant with an active New York State PTA License. We are looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of experienced Physical Therapists. The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for the treatment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services. Requires strong skills in: Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms after reviewing their medical history Develop an individualized treatment plan, tailored to the specific goals of the resident made by the Physical Therapist Instructing and counseling patients using a variety of treatment techniques including: Manual therapy, Therapeutic exercises, Modalities, Gait training, ect. Maintain patient records by keeping track of goals and progress; adapting treatment plans accordingly Communicate effectively with patients and their families on what to expect from the recovery process Communicating with IDT on patient’s needs, to maximize outcomes.
