Position

SAS has an opening for a Receiving Clerk.

Job Responsibilities

• Unload & sort inbound shipments from factories

• Loading & unloading vendor shipments

• Move inbound shipments to designated areas

• Maintain clean & safe workplace

• Ability to operate electric pallet jack & forklift as needed

• Use tablet & scanner to receive product

• Receive & store product in designated areas for future deliveries.

• Ensure all packing lists match inbound shipments & notify supervisor of discrepancies

• Maintain a clean & safe workplace

• Ensure receiving area is secured at the end of each day

• Prepare outbound materials being returned to the factories

• Maintain warehouse equipment

• Conduct weekly cycle counts as scheduled

• Conduct quarterly inventories as required

• Able to assist in other areas of the DC as neededJob Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift & electric pallet jack.

• Work in a fast pace environment

• Dependable, self-motivated and a team player.

• Mature, responsible, & hardworking.

• Respectful & caring for co-workers.

• Accountable for actions/errors.

• Must have good attendance & good attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Must be able to walk/stand for 8 – 10 hours.

• Ability to climb stairs as required.

• Reach, stoop, and pull items above shoulder.

• Must be able to push and pull up to 100lbs.

Education & Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent degree

• Basic computer skills
