Physician - Pediatrics

Job Description: Provide comprehensive medical care to children from infancy through adolescence, encompassing preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses and injuries, while also monitoring growth and development and advising parents on health and wellness. Administer necessary vaccinations according to recommended schedules. Prescribes medications and therapies. Counsels and parents. Analyze and interpret data, formulate diagnosis and problem lists, and establish plans to manage common and complex chronic conditions, and health problems. Treat problems within their scope of competence and exercise judgment on problems requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation. Contributes to quality performance measures, regulatory compliance, training programs, and research initiatives. Precepts and collaborates with other staff members/disciplines to improve the patient experience. Participates in team meetings and activities of PCMH (Primary Care Medical Home) directly or indirectly. Enters into Joint Collaboration Agreements with one or more NHCAC Advance Practice Nurses. Job Requirements: Active Medical License in the State of New Jersey; Board Certification in Pediatric Medicine. Current BCLS, Current DEA Certificate.
