In this role, you will play a key part in providing technical support and asset maintenance for DCS field operations. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated and eager to grow. Responsibilities & Expectations This role will focus heavily on semi tractor/trailer structures and auxiliary systems Complete tractor/trailer work orders according to operational priority Have good communication with managers and the remote ops center regarding assignments and conflicts Maintain and repair machinery (such as generators, pumps, A/Cs, compressors, trailer structures, tractor engines, brakes, and suspension). Autonomy in planning and scheduling your workday based on the operational needs of the company Schedule 2 weeks on 1 week off Company Culture Fast-paced, team-oriented work environment Strong focus on innovation in both technology and operations High level of autonomy in schedule and daily work Benefits 401(k) + matching ESOP eligibility, Health insurance Health savings account Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Company Truck Requirements General Qualifications Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in oilfield environments Willingness to travel as needed to support DCS’s operations in East, West, and South Texas (as needed) Must be self-motivated and able to work autonomously alongside field personnel and engineers, as well as within a team-based setting Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment Preferred Skills and Experience 1-2 years in a mechanical-related field (Diesel engine repair, Tractor-trailer mechanic, Frac mechanic, etc.) OR a 2-year degree in a related field from a technical college Diesel mechanic certification A/C technician certification (608 or 609) Strong communication skills Computer literacy Working understanding of frac operations Important Notices: The above statements reflect the general duties and skills expected of this position and should not be considered a comprehensive list of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications for this role.
