Job OverviewAre you a passionate Labor and Delivery nurse seeking your next fulfilling role? Do you thrive in providing empathetic care to mothers and their newborns during pivotal moments? Our organization is in search of a talented Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery team, where your skills and compassion will have a profound impact.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and comfort of both mother and baby.
- Implement the Standards of Nursing Practice, which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care.
- Provide holistic care to patients and families throughout various stages of life.
- Develop and update patient care plans, coordinating efforts across disciplines.
- Engage in shared accountability and decision-making regarding nursing practices.
- Experience in high-risk labor and delivery is essential.
- Fetal monitoring and antepartum experience required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.
- Familiarity with the Epic electronic health records system is necessary.
This position involves a travel contract with rotating shifts, providing a dynamic work environment that requires adaptability and teamwork.
