Maintenance Technician

HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Industrial industry!

Salary: $28-$34/hr (based on experience)

Shift: 2nd Shift M-F 1-9:30 PM

Location: Justice, IL

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining an industrial facility to support efficient operations and equipment reliability.
• Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems, and components, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers.
• Assist with performing preventive and predictive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Resolve safety concerns in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
• Perform both indoor and outdoor housekeeping and maintenance-related tasks.
• Monitor inventory supplies necessary for maintenance operations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or military setting.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours during an 8-hour shift.

Preferred:

• Boiler knowledge.
• HVAC experience.
• Experience and ability to perform welding activities, including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.
