Auto Technician PositionResponsibilities:Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etcCommunicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecuting repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsJob Requirements:High School diplomaMust have at least 2 years of experience as an auto technicianAbility to read and comprehend written instructions and informationKnowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenanceA fast learnerExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent Customer Service SkillsTeam PlayerMust have a valid driver's licenseEnsures that customer's cars are kept cleanTo maintain his stall in an orderly and clean mannerSkills/Qualifications:Ability to identify problems quicklyGood knowledge of automobilesEffective analytical and communication skillsGood reading, computer, and mathematics skillsAbility to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specificationsShould be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentBenefits:Great working environmentPaid VacationsMedicalDental and Vision insurance401K
