Department: Warehouse / Fabrication
Position: Full-Time
Work Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, or until the day’s work is complete

Position Overview

Kapasi Glass Mart is seeking a dependable, hardworking Warehouse & Fabrication Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on position responsible for supporting our fabrication and field operations by fabricating aluminum storefront frames, handling glass and aluminum materials, loading and unloading trucks and trailers, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, works well with a team, takes pride in their work, and is willing to learn the commercial glass and glazing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble aluminum storefront frames and related components
• Measure, cut, drill, prep, and assemble aluminum according to job requirements
• Prepare storefront frames, doors, glass, and materials for upcoming projects
• Safely load glass trailers, trucks, and company vehicles
• Properly secure glass, aluminum, doors, and other materials for transportation
• Unload incoming glass trucks, deliveries, and material shipments
• Handle and move large sheets of glass, aluminum, doors, and other construction materials
• Stage and organize materials by project and job
• Receive and inspect incoming materials for damage or shortages
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and fabrication area
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and warehouse/fabrication equipment after proper training
• Follow all company safety procedures when handling glass and heavy materials
• Assist warehouse, fabrication, service, and field teams as needed
• Complete assigned work before leaving for the day

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position . Applicants must be able to:

• Regularly lift and carry heavy materials
• Lift 50–75+ lbs individually or with team assistance when appropriate
• Safely handle large and awkward materials, including glass, aluminum frames, and doors
• Stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday
• Work safely around glass, metal, trucks, trailers, and fabrication equipment
• Work in warehouse conditions that may include heat and cold

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual — 7:00 AM means ready to work at 7:00 AM
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Ability to follow measurements, fabrication instructions, and job requirements
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Safety-conscious when handling glass and heavy materials
• Previous warehouse, construction, glazing, or fabrication experience is preferred but not required
• We are willing to train the right candidate

Work Hours & Expectations

The normal workday begins at 7:00 AM and is scheduled through 5:00 PM . Team members are expected to remain until assigned work for the day is complete , which may occasionally require working beyond the normal scheduled end time.

Reliability, punctuality, teamwork, and completing the day's responsibilities are essential expectations of this position.
