Work Environment\n

The role is fully remote, providing you the flexibility to work from home while still being an integral part of our team. You will interact with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring coordinated and comprehensive care. Although the majority of your work will be conducted online, on occasion, you may be required to attend in-person meetings or training sessions to enhance team cohesion and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations to assess clients' mental health status and develop customized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

  • Utilize therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), integrating them into care plans to maximize treatment efficacy.

  • Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records adhering to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and quality care.

  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with a treatment team to ensure a holistic approach to each patient's care, actively participating in case consultations and peer reviews.

  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, equipping them with vital information about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

  • Stay informed on the latest research developments and innovations in mental health care to enhance therapeutic practices and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with come from diverse backgrounds, experiencing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and relationship challenges. Your empathetic approach and expertise will be instrumental in guiding them towards recovery, promoting mental wellness and resilience.

Qualifications\n

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in California.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in solution-focused therapy methods and strategies, with the ability to personalize care based on individual client requirements.

  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for establishing rapport with clients and collaborating effectively with colleagues.

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities that enable you to develop innovative solutions for complex client issues.

Preferred Experience\n

While a Bachelor's Degree is required, we prefer candidates who possess a Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field and who have previous experience working in a counseling environment, particularly within community health settings. Familiarity with telehealth practices and electronic health records (EHR) is highly beneficial.
