The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is one of the largest, most complex agencies in the state, and has approximately 17,000 employees. It is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians, providing human service needs for special populations including individuals who are deaf, blind, developmentally disabled, and mentally ill, and helping poor North Carolinians achieve economic independence.

This position will assist in ensuring compliance with state/federal early intervention guidelines and helping specialized clinicians assist families with children who have special needs. The Administrative Associate II will provide core financial, client record, and administrative support to the daily operations of the Children's Developmental Services Agency (CDSA). Key duties include data system entry, managing of client data system records, assisting with billing and purchasing, and providing front-desk customer service.

Salary Range: $31,200 -$51,249

Recruitment Range: $31,200 -$39,930

• Strong office, computer, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage schedules, write clear emails, organize files, and help run daily office tasks.
• Understanding standard office workflows and procedures.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and calendar apps.
